The UNC School of Law's and Duke University School of Law’s Student Animal Legal Defense Fund (SALDF) chapters are proud to partner together this year to host the annual Animal Law Symposium. Join us for a discussion on the social justice issues surrounding the hog-farming crisis in North Carolina, a legislative update from Humane Society of the U.S., an Animal Legal Defense Fund update, and more.

The symposium features speakers from the Humane Society of U.S., the Animal Legal Defense Fund, New York University School of Law and the “McLibel” case. The symposium will be held at Duke Law. A vegan breakfast, coffee and lunch will be provided to attendees. The event is free, but registration is required.
