Yes

Saturday, September 9, 2017 8:00 AM - 11:40 AM

This half-day event, offered exclusively for members of UNC Law School's Holderness Moot Court Program, focuses on practical lawyering skills in client counseling, representing clients in negotiations, brief writing, and appellate oral argument. Using materials developed exclusively for this event, instructors offer a unique combination of short lectures and multiple hands-on breakout sessions involving simulations, role-playing, writing, and editing exercises, during which students are guided by the program's panel of expert legal professionals. The insights gained from the panelists will benefit both law students and inexperienced lawyers looking to become better brief writers, as well as experienced lawyers looking to hone their skills.
