CE3 Conference: North Carolina's Energy Future

This half-day seminar will provide an overview of state energy law and exploreupcomingdecision pointsthat will affect the future of North Carolina’s electricity sector. The seminar will begin with an overview of the state’s ratemaking process and the agencies overseeing the state’s electricity sector. Afternoon sessions will focus on upcoming decision points that will affect the state’s energy mix and lessons that North Carolina can learn from other states. Discussion topics will include trends affecting electricity planning, the value of solar and other distributed energy resources, and the future of energy innovation.
